Let everyone put aside all criticisms about the way the country prepared itself for the great sporting event India hosts after the 1982 Asiad and make it a grand success.All those responsible should focus only on making the 12 days sporting extravaganza a grand success now. The country's pride is at stake.Having won the bid successfully to host the CWG 2010,India should prove to the world we are second to none.Hopefully all those concerned would have learnt lessons form this woefully bad co-ordination among various departments that were organising the sporting event. If the event is conducted at the best possible manner from all aspects, it would earn accolades from the participating nations and make us forget the debacles.By no stretch of imagination I am justifying the scams and corruption that rocked the CWG preparations.All those responsible are to be punished and surely heads must roll.But it should happen only after the successful completion of the CWG.One hopes India's sportsmen and athletes improve their medals tally by a quantum leap this time in CWG , make all Indians proud and forget the CWG fiasco.Indian participants should make this event memorable by their medals tally.This CWG should not be remembered for the fiasco.Henceforth such big sporting events should not be organised by committees headed by politicians.It is unfortunate this CWG preparations  has painted our politicians in bad light.It must be remembered our neighbour China could hold the Beijing Olympics in great style.It must be borne in mind some great world class facilities have come up for the CWG Games .Please look at some of the photographs .
