I read in web pages that the Sainik school calendar for 2011 in Udumalpet in Tamilnadu has a photo of Sri Lankan Prime minister Rajapakshe printed under the caption "Everything is Possible". This is surely high handed and a haughty disregard to the sentiments of Tamils. Where is the need for this in a school calendar, especially in a school run under the chairmanship of the Defence Minister of India ? The Local school Board Administration is headed by the General Officer Commanding, ATNK & K area, Chennai.I feel this is done deliberatley by some vested interests.I have felt many times the Tamil protagonists for the Ealam cause in Tamilnadu always protest to an excessive degree and hyperbolise. But incidents like this make me change my mind and think they are right in saying there is a deliberate attempt by some to taunt the Tamil sentiments.I now feel repeated attacks on fishermen from Tamil nadu(Thousands of them have perished),despite protests from Government of India and extending a red carpet welcome to Rajapakshe at the CWG closing ceremonies were all part of this grand design. If it is true, this is not right. I will be too glad, if I am proved wrong .Authorities concerned should act quickly and make amends to this patently gross disregard to acknowledge the sentiments of people in an Indian state. I am also forced to construe this as a wilful act by some one with a devious intent.
