Chip off the old block

Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar has emulated his  illustrious father and proved to the world that he is after all a chip off the old block .Arjun Tendulkar scored his maiden hundred in the under 14 selection trials for the Maharashtra team .Needless to say Arjun has found a place in the under 14 probables. He has hit 14 boundaries and a six in his knock. The 12 year old scored 124 runs .Unlike his father Arjun is a southpaw. It is reported Arjun practices with his dad and Shewag.I believe Arjun will surely have the genetic potential .But he should harness it to the maximum and excel his famed father .It will not be an easy task It is also too early to talk about Arjun's capabilities as a batsman .But he surely has it in his genes .It is believed there is a specific gene linked to athletic performance. The skills can be hereditary but performance depends on how Arjun nurtures his natural talent. It is reported a child's athletic disposition can be predicted by a genetic test.In simple terms some people are genetically gifted .You can call it a genetic advantage. Some child prodigy's can identify any music note.It is believed this trait is dependent on a specific gene. But unless the child is exposed to music and nurtured in the right environment ,the special trait may not manifest. But in Arjun's case he has both, the genetic potential as well as an excellent environment to nurture his natural skills .
